The 2009 Whale Watching Season has begun. We had some guests go out in Mid April and had a great time. They saw a pod of dolphins and 2 different types of whales, for a total of 8 whales. The Dolphin Fleet goes out of Provincetown. They have anywhere between 3 and 12 departures a day depending on the time of year. The Dolphin fleet has a naturalist on every trip and they have been studing these whales for years. Many of them are named and can be identified by their tail fin. A whale watch is a lot of fun for the whole family.
