Directions to the Inn at the Oaks, Eastham, MA


Driving time from Boston is about 1 and 1/2 hours.

From New York City approx. 5 hours and 10 minutes

From Boston & Points North (The Inn At the Oaks is located 94 miles from Boston):

  • Proceed South on I-93 to Route 3 South.

  • Route 3 leads directly onto Sagamore Bridge.

  • Follow directions (below) from Sagamore Bridge.


  • From New York City & Points West (280 miles to Inn At the Oaks):

  • Proceed North on I-95 to Providence, Rhode Island.

  • Proceed on I-195 East for approximately 44 miles to Exit 22A: Route 25 East (Cape Cod).

  • Proceed on Route 25 East for approximately 9 miles to Exit 2: Route 6 East (Provincetown). Enter rotary.

  • Proceed approximately ¾ circle around rotary to exit marked Route 6 East (Provincetown).

  • Proceed approximately 3 miles along Cape Cod Canal until you reach the Sagamore Bridge, exiting onto Route 6 East.

  • Follow directions (below) from Sagamore Bridge.


  • From Sagamore Bridge:

  • Proceed over the Cape Cod Canal on Sagamore Bridge. This is Route 6 East.

  • Proceed on Route 6 East towards Hyannis/Provincetown.

  • The highway ends at the Orleans Circle, and you are now about 3 miles from the Inn.

  • Go around the circle to the second exit, and proceed East on Rte. 6 to Eastham.

  • PLEASE TRAVEL SLOWLY AND OBEY LOCAL SPEED LIMITS.

  • Continue on Route 6 approximately 3 miles to the second traffic light. You will see the National Seashore Visitors Center on your right, and the Lobster Shanty on your left.

  • YOU ARE NOW ONLY 300 YARDS FROM THE INN AT THE OAKS.

  • Put on your left turn signal at the traffic light, and immediately look for the Inn on your left. Turn into the second driveway and park.

    POLICIES:
    All of our rates are based on single or double occupancy and include an extended continental breakfast for two each morning. Additional guests may be accommodated in certain rooms at an additional rate of $25 per night. - please inquire via phone or email. State & local occupancy tax is extra. Children under 12 that utilize the bedding already in the room stay free.

    Deposits: Reservations for one, two or three nights require a full deposit via major credit card and is due at the time the reservation is made. For reservations of four nights or more a three night deposit is required with the balance being automatically charged to the credit card on file 14 days prior to arrival. Deposits are refundable less a $25 cancellation fee for cancellations 14 days or more prior to arrival. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

    Check-in: 3pm - 7pm Check-out: 11am.

    Late Arrival: We are happy to accommodate late arrivals and you may arrive anytime you please. Guests arriving after-hours will receive an envelope with a welcome letter with details of the amenities, directions to their room and of course room keys. There is an 'after-hours' number to call if you have an emergency.

    Pets: We love well behaved dogs! We have four pet friendly rooms in the Inn; Garden Room, Sail Loft Suite, The Lighthouse Suite Suite and The Beachcomber Suite. One large dog or two small dogs are allowed. We ask all guests to sign a waiver at check-in stating that the guest is responsible for any damage caused by the animal. We also ask for the guest's cell-phone number in the event they are out and the animal is causing a disturbance. Our pet fee is $50 per stay.

    Children: We are a family friendly Inn. There is no charge for children under 12 in the same room as their parents using the existing bedding. Cots are available for $25 per night in certain rooms.

    Smoking: The Inn at the Oaks is a smoke-free environment.

    Excessive Cleaning / Damage: In the rare event that a room or its contents are damaged due to extreme guest negligence or evidence of smoking in the rooms, we must assess a cleaning or replacement charge not to exceed $200.
