We sit on more than an acre of gardens and wraparound porches in Eastham, close enough to the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor Center to walk, bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail, or reach Coast Guard Beach without ever starting your car. Built in 1870 and welcoming guests since the 1920s, our estate once sheltered naturalist Henry Beston while he wrote The Outermost House, the book that helped inspire the National Seashore's founding; his name still marks one of our favorite suites.

As local, hands-on innkeepers, we've kept the estate feeling lived-in rather than scripted: eight distinct rooms in the Main House, several with fireplaces or soaking tubs, and four Carriage House suites built for longer stays, with private decks and kitchenettes. Every stay includes a gourmet breakfast, thoughtful local touches, and complimentary beach gear, so the sand, the trails, and the Outer Cape are always just a short walk from your door.
